Welcome—I’m Logan.
I’ve been traveling for as long as I can remember, starting with my first passport at age 10. What began as early exposure to the world has evolved into a constant curiosity—figuring out how to make the most of wherever I land. Well before I ever had a passport in hand, my interest in wine started to take shape as well. These days, my wife and I are building on that early interest as we work toward our Sommelier certifications through CMS, weaving the world of wine into our travel experiences along the way.
Not long after that first passport, I took my first long-haul flight at the very experienced age of 12, heading to Switzerland en route to Nairobi. Since then, I’ve logged over a quarter of a million miles in the air and passed through 50 different airports—each one shaping how I approach travel today.
These days, I spend a lot of time on the road for work, traveling extensively across the United States from my home base in Atlanta. That means plenty of time in airports, rental cars, hotels, and cities of all sizes—some expected, some surprising. Work travel has given me a practical, real-world perspective on getting around efficiently, finding what’s actually worth your time, and making short trips count too—even if just for the points.
But when it’s my trip to plan, the lessons—and points—from those miles really come into play.
International travel is where I really lean in. I love exploring new cultures, navigating unfamiliar places, and building experiences that go beyond the typical itinerary. Whether it’s a few weeks abroad or a weekend adventure, I’m always looking for that balance between planning just enough and leaving room to discover something unexpected.
I’m excited to share my experiences here—the excitement of traversing the globe, practical tips, honest takes, and ideas for making travel smoother and more interesting.
I’m very impressed with your writing. Can’t wait for more travel experiences and tips!!
